The Matildas are coming to Canberra for a match against Argentina as part of their build-up to the AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia next year. The game is set for June 2 at GIO Stadium. Details here.
The Public Transport Association of Canberra recently held a design competition for a regional public transport map. Kyle Hanley created the winning entry, which does a fantastic job of showing the various transport options across the region. Details here.
New Spider Discovered in the ACT: A previously undescribed species of trapdoor spider has been found by staff in the Molonglo River Reserve. The good news? It isn't dangerous to humans. More.
Sulwood Drive Bike Path Opens: A new 4km bike path is now open along Sulwood Drive, on the southern side between Drakeford and Athlon Drives. Additional work is continuing on the nearby Mount Taylor car park to improve the surface. More.
Darude: Darude of Sandstorm fame is coming to Canberra. He'll take fans on a transformative journey through twenty-five years of emotively charged productions and dancefloor connectivity. Darude will be performing at Fiction next Friday. Details here.
The Noosh: The Noosh is a monthly performance game show happening every second Wednesday of the month at Fun Time Pony. Drag, burlesque, poetry, comedy, music, and more battle it out each month for prizes and Nooshy glory. Details here.
Emo and Pop Punk Night: TAKING BACK SATURDAY, Australia's biggest Emo and Pop Punk night, is coming to The Baso next weekend. Details here.
Canberra Play Outside Day is back — and this time, it's all about power tools for both adults and kids. SALT Ladies Tradies will help you make your own cheese board to take home. There'll be an inflatable obstacle course, hammocks, slacklines, and outdoor games, along with charcoal drawing and crafts for creative minds. Live entertainment comes from Angie Who, Bec Taylor and the Lyrebirds, and the PRISM Jazz Ensemble. It's all happening next Sunday in Haig Park. Details here.

Canberra Reptile Zoo: The Reptile Zoo is launching a new school holiday program — Mini Beasts. Designed for curious kids and run by their lead educational instructor, these hands-on sessions bring learning to life with live animals, fun activities, and loads of discovery. Details here.
Manchester City Football School: Man City FC is running a 4-day school holiday clinic for boys and girls aged 7–14. The program is designed for young players of all skill levels. Details here.
