🎄 Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar
The always-popular annual Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar is happening this Sunday at Albert Hall. Enjoy Christmas markets, a Scandinavian café, entertainment including folk dances and Christmas songs, a raffle, and much more. Entry is via gold coin donation. Details here.
🛍️ Museum Market Day
There will be over 50 local and regional stallholders at the National Museum’s Market Day. Soak up the lively ambience with a DJ, plus food and drink stands in the Gandel Atrium. Details here.
💍 Undercurrent Design Market
The Undercurrent Design Market celebrates makers, designers and creatives. Discover Australian fashion, craft, jewellery, homewares and more. There will be over 70 designers from across Australia. This year the market is happening at The Vault, Dairy Road. Details here.
🔨 Community Toolbox Open Day
The Community Toolbox, Canberra's first tool and equipment library, is celebrating its third birthday! Since opening, over 7000 loans have been made to more than 600 members.
To mark the occasion, the Toolbox is hosting an open day this Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Visitors can take guided tours, watch tool demonstrations, and even try out tools in a safe, supportive environment—perfect if you've ever wanted to use a particular tool but felt uncertain. And to top it off, pie makers and waffle irons will be on hand to keep everyone well-fed! Details here.
🐾 Christmas Paws Party
This Sunday, ring in the holiday season early with the Christmas Paws Party in Haig Park. There will be free treats and goodies for all festive pooches and humans can make a custom ornament featuring a photo of their dog. Details here.
🍿 Sunset Cinema
Sunset Cinema is back for another summer at the Botanic Gardens. The outdoor cinema plays a mix of new releases and classics. On Friday evening, The Wild Robotwill be showing and on Saturday Joker: Folie a Deux. Details here.
🎶 Squeak Out Laneway Festival
Squeaky Clean Bar is celebrating its birthday with a Laneway Festival in Verity Lane. There will be live music all day and night, eats from the All About Burgers food van and drinks from Capital Brewing. Details here.

Questacon is hosting an after-dark adults-only celebration of science and pride. There will be performances, activities, science demonstrations, and drinks, cocktails and snacks from pop-up bars. It's happening this Friday evening. Details here.
Kids: 🎉 PlayUp Takeover at MoAD
MoAD is hosting a fun-filled day for kids in celebration of World Children's Day. There will be a disco in King's Hall and outside will be outdoor games, crafting stations and dress ups. It's happening this Saturday. Details here.
