About

Canberra Digest is a digital daily for the Canberra local. Each weekday morning you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated digest of Canberra events, Canberra news, culture, and more. It’s the best way to keep up with what’s happening in Canberra.

Who’s Behind Canberra Digest?

Hello, I’m Anthony Feint. I was born in Canberra and I’ve watched this city change — for the better — over the years. I honestly think it’s one of the best places to live, with an incredible quality of life that often gets overlooked. I started Canberra Digest because I felt the city deserved something better than ad-heavy, rage-bait media. I wanted an independent alternative that reflects the real Canberra — progressive, thoughtful, and diverse.

It’s just me behind the scenes: curating, writing and editing. If you ever have feedback, ideas, or something worth sharing, I’d love to hear from you. Your emails with tips, events, news and more are the backbone of each issue.

Advertising on Canberra Digest

The only ads currently on Canberra Digest are Classifieds — short, text-based ads that appear at the end of each issue. If you’re looking to reach a Canberra-based audience, Classifieds are one of the most effective and affordable ways to do it. Best of all, it’s a local option — your money supports independent media in Canberra, not Mark Zuckerberg.
