Denman Kitchen and Wine Bar

Denman Prospect has a new local. The Denman Kitchen and Wine Bar is from the people behind the Two Before Ten cafes. The family-friendly gastro-pub has an exciting menu with all the classics you’d expect from a local and a few surprises like a hoisin duck leg, goat rendang and house-made gnocchi. Denman Kitchen is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Home Brew

Home Brew is a new suburban cafe and bar in Wright. Their menu features all of the brunch classics but with some added Japanese inspired twists like poached eggs with Japanese croquettes and crispy soft shell crab. Home Brew is currently open daily from 7am to 3pm with plans to add nights soon. You’ll find it at 76 Steve Irwin Avenue, Wright.

Popular Canberra cafe group Eighty/Twenty have opened their latest venue in the City. The new cafe is on Mort Street and is open weekdays to cater to the office crowd.

From the people behind Joe's Bar and Agostinis (East Hotel) comes Cafe Sosta. The new cafe is located in the Red Shed on Black Mountain Peninsula - Canberra's new state-of-the-art community rowing facility. It's open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and serves up an Italian-inspired menu, including pistachio-filled croissants!
