🎄 Christmas in July

A European-inspired food, wine, and winter market is taking over the Patrick White Lawns from Thursday to Sunday. There will be fire-pits, live music and entertainment, a snow alley and lots of warming food and drink options. Details here.


✂️ Art Make Create

The NPG is holding its annual Family Day on Sunday, this time inspired by The Immersive World of Thom Roberts exhibition. Connect with Thom Roberts and take part in a live, interactive artwork created throughout the day. Get playful with block printing and badge-making, build a cardboard city, craft a colourful kaleidoscope, and make your own pop-out train. It's free! Details here.


đź§µ Pearce Crafters Market

Local makers and artisans will be at the Pearce Community Centre for a Christmas in July-themed market. They will have Christmas goodies as well as beautiful products from our amazing stalls. Santa will be available from 10am to 2pm on Saturday only and has a gift for every child. Details here.


đź‘— Canberra Fashion Market

Browse new and quality pre-loved fashion—clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery and more—at the Canberra Fashion Market this Sunday at the Fitters' Workshop in Kingston, 10am to 3pm.


🏉 Raiders vs. Dragons

The Raiders are back home this Saturday in the first double-header of 2025. The NRLW team kicks off their season at 3:15pm, followed by the NRL match at 5:30pm. Details here.


🍸 Urban Cocktail Trail

Take a self-guided cocktail trail through seven top venues across the city and Braddon. Tickets include cocktail vouchers and a $10 food voucher. Details here.


🍷 Rutherglen in the City

Explore Victoria’s Rutherglen Wine Region in the relaxed surrounds of the Members’ Dining Room at Old Parliament House. There’ll be live music, gourmet food, and Rutherglen wines to taste. Winemakers and experts will also host pop-up chats on topics like sustainable viticulture, food pairings, and winemaking innovation. Details here.


❄️ Winter in the City

Starting this Saturday and running for two-weeks, Winter in the City features a free program of entertainment including nightly fire shows. This week’s entertainment will include Mission to the Moon—a high-energy show blending circus, theatre, and real space science. And The Circus Firemen who will light up the stage with acrobatics, fire juggling, and daring ladder stunts Details here.


Markets This Weekend in Canberra

Hall Markets: The Hartley Hall Markets return this Sunday with stalls selling produce, plants, baked goods, furniture, and more. Entry is by gold coin donation, supporting Hartley's work with people with disability. Details here.

The Polish Deli: The pop-up pro deli is back at the Polish Club in Turner this Saturday from 10:30-1pm. You’ll find a range of Polish & Eastern European small goods as well as pączki (doughnuts) sernik (delish Polish-style cheesecake), Polish confectionery, preserves, sinus-clearing horseradish & more.

Capital Region Farmers Market: Canberra's largest farmers market, with over 100 stalls offering fresh produce, including fruit and veg, baked goods, meat, seafood and more. It runs every Saturday morning at EPIC from 7am to 11:30am. Details here.

Little Burley Markets: Located on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin, The Little Burley Markets run every Saturday morning. They make a great stop on a walk around the lake. Details here.

Haig Park Village Markets: The markets are held in Haig Park every Sunday from 8am to 2pm. You'll find a mix of fresh produce, baked goods, handmade products and food and drink stalls. Details here.

The Old Bus Depot Markets: The OBDM run every Sunday on the Kingston Foreshore. Details here.

Southside Farmers Market: The Southside Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning at Canberra College in Phillip. Details here.

Jamison Trash and Treasure: Runs every Sunday in Belconnen. As well as pre-loved and vintage items, you'll find fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, and plants. Details here.
