Fashion Thrift Society: The Fashion Thrift Society Second-Hand Market is happening at EPIC this Sunday. Local and interstate sellers will be offering vintage and pre-loved clothing. The event is ticketed, with prices becoming cheaper later in the day. Free entry is available after 3pm. Details here.
Vintage Kilo Sale: Instead of individually priced items, the Vintage Kilo Sale sells second-hand clothing for $50 per kilo. The event is ticketed before 1pm and free afterwards. It's happening on Saturday, March 29, with a special VIP drop on Friday, March 28. Details here.

Grainger Gallery: There are currently three fantastic exhibitions happening at the Grainger Gallery, including Sally Kent's The Blooming, Penelope Boyd's Lost and Found, and Narelle Zeller's Through My Eyes. Details here.
Nic + Rebecca at GOST: The Gallery of Small Things is hosting its first duo show for 2025 with works from painter Nicola Mason and ceramicist Rebecca Dowling. Details here.
M16 Exhibitions: Block 3 of exhibitions at the M16 Artspace open this Thursday and Friday. Details here.
Inhabited: Inhabited at Gungahlin Arts features the work of eight artists who live or work in the region. Details here.
The Moors: Set against the desolate, windswept moors of England, The Moorsdelves into the lives of two sisters—one consumed by despair, the other entrenched in misery. They share their home with a distant, brooding brother, a scullery maid, and a massive mastiff in a gloomy, decaying mansion. The play opens at the Mill Theatre on March 26, with previews happening from Wednesday. Details here.
Wesley Music Centre: There is a packed program at the Wesley Music Centre this week, with a Schumann recital this Wednesday, the Oriana Chorale's first performance of the year this Friday, and Art Song Canberra presenting Berlin Electric, an electrifying trip through the songs and stories of the Weimar Republic on Sunday. The House of Bernarda Alba: Considered the first play to be written for a cast of women only, The House of Bernarda Alba is based on the mysterious black-clad women who lived next door to the Lorca family estate. With their father dead, the Alba household is imprisoned in mourning. The House of Bernarda Alba opens at the ACT Hub this week. Details here.
Alter Ego Art Show: Sticky Beak Comics will be launching their 3rd issue, Alter Ego, this Saturday at the Blank creative space. Alongside the zine launch will be a group art show featuring local visual artists who use comics as a storytelling medium. Details here.
Cézanne to Giacometti: Tickets for the National Gallery's next blockbuster exhibition Cézanne to Giacometti: Highlights from Museum Berggruen / Neue Nationalgalerie have gone on sale. It opens on May 31. Details here.
There are still a few tickets left for this weekend's Gabby's Dollhouse Live show at the AIS Arena. The musical performance features unique puppets and fan-favourite songs, including Sprinkle Party, Hey Gabby, Music in You, and You Can't Spell Meow Without Me. Details here.
🎶 Sleeping Stories: Canberra Symphony Orchestra's Sleeping Stories, a showcase of contemporary Australian music performed in the stunning surrounds of the Gandel Atrium at the National Museum of Australia. National Spy Museum: A proposal to build a National Spy Museum in Canberra has received backing from politicians, intelligence agencies, and the NCA. The site earmarked for the development is the Medical Superintendent's Residence, one of the last surviving buildings from the old Royal Canberra Hospital. More.
Light Rail Maintenance: Light rail maintenance will take place from Sunday, March 23, to Thursday, March 27. Work will be done overnight to avoid peak-hour impacts, and replacement buses will run when the light rail is not operating. Details here.
Canberra Centre: There are three new stores set to open at the Canberra Centre following a number of recent closures. Australian brands Kookai, Rebecca Vallance, and Scanlan are coming to the centre. LSKD will open its first Canberra store this weekend with some giveaways. Details here.
The ACT will host its first Endo and Pelvic Pain Expo in over 25 years. The need for this expo was identified by noticing a lack of events targeting pelvic health for women. The aim of the expo is to raise awareness and provide education and the tools to empower people to make informed decisions about their health. It's being run by QENDO, the longest-running endometriosis charity in Australia. It's happening this Saturday at Exhibition Park. Details here.
