Lake Burley Griffin will come alive as Skyfire returns this Saturday. The show will start at 8:30pm and run for 20 minutes. Mix106.3 and Hit104.7 will be broadcasting an accompanying soundtrack to the show, so bring along a radio. Details here.
RAAF Flyover: At approximately 7:32pm, there will be an F-35 Fighter Jet flyover.
Public Transport: Public transport on buses and light rail will be free after 5pm on Saturday until the last service. Extra light rail services and shuttle buses from the city will be available. Details here.
Food and Drink: Food trucks will be set up at Regatta Point and Rond Terrace on the northern side of the lake, while the Little Burley Markets will run until 8pm on the southern side.
Road Closures: Expect road closures around the National Triangle, including Commonwealth Avenue and Parkes Way, at various times on Saturday. Details here.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time: Based on the best-selling book, the play, which premiered in 2012, has become a global theatrical phenomenon. Mockingbird Theatre’s production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is running from March 20 to April 5 at Belco Arts. Details here.
Forest Art Auction: This Saturday, the Canberra Forest Alliance and Conservation Council ACT will hold an art auction at Capital Brewing. Proceeds from the auction will support their campaigns to protect native forests in the local region. Details here.
Frank Knight Exhibition: The Botanic Gardens is hosting an exhibition on the long career of one of Australia’s most renowned fauna and landscape artists, Frank Knight. He worked as an illustrator for CSIRO’s Division of Wildlife Research for over 20 years and has illustrated many scientific and natural history textbooks. Details here.
Sleeping Stories: The CSO presents a captivating showcase of contemporary Australian music inspired by ancient stories. Sleeping Stories premieres new works at the National Museum’s Gandel Atrium. Details here.
