Canberra Qwire Concert: For the first time, Canberra Qwire joins forces with some of the ACT's finest musicians in a landmark performance, These Precious Hours: Purcell's Dido & Aeneas Reimagined. Join Qwire as they reinterpret Henry Purcell's 1689 opera and explore themes of queer love, loss, and heartache with music that transcends generations. Details here.
Snatches: Mockingbird Theatre's Snatches: Moments from 100 Years of Women's Lives is a punchy evening of standalone monologues. Curated by Vicky Featherstone and directed locally by Céline Oudin (8 Women), the show features eight rising Canberra actors embodying a century of women's struggles. Lifeline Bookfair Move: In Friday's issue, I mentioned the Lifeline Bookfair would be happening in Tuggeranong. It's been moved—it will now take place at the National Convention Centre from June 13–15. The change is due to renovation works at the Stadium.
