One actor and a script they've never seen—that's the premise of ECHO from acclaimed Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour. A different actor will perform each night, stepping onto the stage for the first time with the script waiting in a sealed envelope. Something to do: 🎲 Games Night at Blackbird

Blackbird Bar in the city is launching a weekly games night next Wednesday. They'll have a large selection of board and card games, including retro classics, and you're welcome to bring your own games too. ALDI Trialling Home Delivery: ALDI has announced a trial of a home delivery service, starting here in Canberra. Around 1,800 products will be available through the DoorDash platform. However, only groceries can be ordered, with no centre-aisle special buys. I did a quick check, and it looks like the same in-store prices are available through DoorDash, though you will also pay a service and delivery fee. More.

School of Music Cuts: One of the ANU's most prestigious schools is set to be absorbed in the latest round of cuts at the university. The ANU is proposing to relegate the School of Music to "program status" and fold it into a new School of Creative and Cultural Practice, with fewer staff and no longer offering one-on-one music tuition. Affordable Homes in Curtin: Construction starts next year on a 98-unit complex in Curtin—83 discounted rentals (leased at less than 75% of market rate) plus 15 supported apartments for people with enduring mental illness, staffed 24/7 by MyHome. Wesley Mission will deliver the project on Uniting Church land, backed by ACT Government funding and the federal Housing Australia Future Fund. More.
