Geek Markets is a free comic con-style event packed with comics, cosplay, tabletop games, collectibles and more. It's happening next Saturday at EPIC. Meet comic artists, join a drawing workshop, play pinball at the pop-up arcade, and dive into all things geek. Details here.

Korean Taco Nights: Lazy Su in Braddon is launching Taco Tuesdays—a fusion of tacos with Korean twists like lamb shoulder in sweet and sticky galbi sauce, honey-drizzled gochujang chicken asado, and miso-marinated barramundi with nori crumbs. Details here.
AK Diner's Pop-up: AK's in New Acton is hosting a pop-up lunch next Saturday. They'll be serving Bak Kut Teh—a Malaysian dish of slow-cooked pork ribs and other cuts in a rich, herbal broth. Perfect for a cold winter's day. Details here.
Five Passions Pizza: There's a new pizza food truck in Turner. Five Passions, already a regular at Canberra markets, has now set up in the growing street food hub outside the Croatian Club. Details here.
Truffle Degustation: Parliament House is hosting a six-course truffle degustation in the Members and Guests Dining Room. The menu, prepared by Executive Chef David Learmonth, features locally sourced truffles from Macenmist Black Truffles and matched wines. Details here.
The Canberra Environment Centre is running a hands-on workshop that demystifies the art of lacto-fermentation—starting with how to make sauerkraut and pickle seasonal veggies from your garden or the market.
