Good Goodies: At the Good Goodies community style flea market at Gang Gang in Watson you'll find vintage clothing, records, art, pottery and more. Gang Gang will be taking a break from their regular menu this Saturday to serve hot dogs! Details here.
Live Salt Drawing: Artist Hannah Quinlivan will create a drawing using salt live in the Canberra Contemporary Gallery. The gallery is at Queen Elizabeth Terrace on the shores of LBG and will be open until 9pm tonight. Details here.
The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Canberra and District Branch is running a free beginner introduction class to Scottish Country Dancing. Scottish country dancing is a fun, social and inclusive form of dancing, and no experience or partner is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and flat, soft-soled shoes. It's happening February 5. Drones and Bats: This year's drone shows are starting half an hour later than last year to avoid disrupting the flying foxes as they leave their camp in Commonwealth Park each evening. More.
New News Host: ABC reporter Greg Jennet is stepping in as the new face of Canberra's 7pm ABC News, replacing James Glenday, who has moved to ABC News Breakfast. His first program will be tomorrow evening.
Free Public Transport: Public transport is free today and tomorrow from 5pm. Shuttle buses to the drone show are running from the City and Woden. Details here.
