This Saturday is Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown. Here are some of the venues around town that will be playing the countdown:
Bentspoke: Bentspoke will be hoping to make it 8 straight years on the GABS hottest 100 craft beers podium. They'll also be blasting Triple J's hottest 100.
Capital Brewing: Capital Brewing at Dairy Road will be counting down the GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beers & blasting the Triple J Hottest 100 songs of the year. Details here.

A couple of interesting foodie events coming up in Canberra:
Foraging with Cypher: Gungahlin brewery Cypher is holding a unique foraging event where you'll explore local nature reserves to collect native ingredients that will be used in a one-of-a-kind craft beer that will be released at the National Multicultural Festival. This Sunday, the National Museum is holding a community family day. There will be free creative activities, music, dance, and workshops all day, as well as a lakeside concert featuring Jem Cassar-Daley and Stewart Barton in the afternoon. Details here.
The Canberra Men's Choir is a non-audition choir that proudly upholds the principle that singing is for everyone, irrespective of musical experience or ability.
