Something to do: 🚒 Canberra Fire Museum

The lesser-known Canberra Fire Museum is located in the historic Forrest Fire Station. It showcases equipment, uniforms, and vehicles spanning over a century of the ACT's remarkable firefighting history. The museum is open to the public most Saturdays, with entry via a gold coin donation. Details here.

Panda Party is a pick-up-and-play card game created in Canberra by husband-and-wife duo Ana Andreska and Darko Andreski. Launched in 2022, the game was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is now available at board game shops across Australia. This weekend, Panda Party is unveiling a new booster pack expansion at Good Games in the city. Join the event to learn how to play, meet the creators, and win prizes. Details here.


Sport: 🏏 T20 International

Australia will take on England in the second CommBank Women's Ashes T20 International at Manuka Oval next Thursday. There are still a few tickets left for the match. Details here.

Do you like the idea of using Canberra's public transport but are not sure where to start? The Public Transport Association of Canberra run Fantastic Bus Trips of Canberra. On these trips, you'll learn about buying tickets, using MyWay+, how to plan routes and the best apps to use. Each trip will take a different route and usually ends with a coffee or lunch. The first trip, from Dickson to Mawson, is happening on February 7. Details here.

Canberra's Croc The Canberra Reptile Zoo has unveiled its first-ever saltwater crocodile exhibit. Charlie the Croc now resides in the newly constructed 'Croc Cove,' which officially opened yesterday.
