A New City Cafe: Cafe Cultura has opened in the unique hexagon shaped space where The Fish Shack used to be in the City. The cafe is serving up coffee and Turkish food including gozleme and kebabs as well as brunch favourites like smashed avo. Details here.
A New Italian Restaurant: Brothers Josh and Jon Kosteski, known for running the popular Queanbeyan Italian restaurant Pronto since 2021, are expanding to Cooleman Court with a second location. Pronto stands out as one of only two restaurants in the region certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana(AVPN) in Napoli, ensuring authentic Neapolitan pizza. Details here.

Galette des Rois: The Galette des Rois, or "King's Cake," is a flaky, buttery puff pastry filled with frangipane, traditionally enjoyed during Epiphany. If you're looking to find one in Canberra, Ma Petite Patisserie is taking pre-orders for pickup this weekend. Details here.
Bake-at-Home Sourdough: After two years of testing, Three Mills bakery is expanding its bake-at-home range with a bake-at-home sourdough loaf. Details here.
Açaí: Açaí soft-serve is a sweet, frozen treat made from the berries of the açaí palm, typically served with a variety of toppings. There are a couple of new Açaí spots in Canberra: Acai Bunny has opened in Phillip outside of Westfield, and Acai Amigos has opened in the carpark at Dickson Tradies.
