Stomp Festival (April 5–6): Celebrate Canberra’s local wine and produce with a weekend of events including tastings, grape stomping, workshops and more. Details here.
African Festival in the Park (April 5): A vibrant celebration of African culture, music, art and cuisine. This annual event brings people together to experience the richness and diversity of African traditions in the heart of the city. Details here.
Henry 5 (April 10–20): Bell Shakespeare’s production of Henry 5 comes to the Canberra Theatre this April. Details here.
Canberra Times Marathon Festival (April 12): More than 10,000 runners will take part in Canberra’s largest marathon festival. Details here.
Italian Festa: Sotto le Stelle (April 12): Savour the taste of Italy with a magical evening under the stars, where the sights, sounds and flavours of Italy come alive at the National Museum. Details here.
National Folk Festival (April 17–21): The popular, family-friendly celebration of folk culture from across Australia, returns to EPIC over the Easter long weekend. Details here.
Canberra and Region Heritage Festival (April 18 – May 11): With over 130 events around Canberra, the Heritage Festival includes talks, walks, workshops and plenty of family-friendly activities. Details here.
Canberra Steam Train Rides (April 18–20): The Picnic Train is back this Easter, running shuttles between Canberra and Bungendore. Details here.

The Pearce Crafters Market is a bespoke craft market showcasing quality handmade goods from the region. It’s on this weekend at the Pearce Community Centre. Expect wonderful stalls, great coffee, delicious pies, and Alice in Wonderland-themed activities for the kids. Banhmi Shack: There’s a new bánh mì spot in Dickson. Banhmi Shack is open Monday to Saturday, 8am–4pm, with rolls starting at just $10. Details here.
Bar Rochford Rosheen II: Melbourne chef and recipe columnist for Good Food and The Guardian, Rosheen Kaul, is coming to Bar Rochford for two nights of French and Chinese bistro-inspired Food. Details here.
