The Jetty is a pop-up café and beer garden on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin, opening this Sunday and running through until March next year. This year, Fricken Chicken and Bentspoke Beer will be joined in the beer garden by Hem & Co’s wood-fired pizza. Details here.
Did you know there is a group of volunteers in Canberra dedicated to squishing bugs at the Botanic Gardens?! They play a key role in protecting the tropical plants from pests. You can learn more about the work they do and perhaps volunteer too - more.
The southbound lanes will be closed from 7pm to 6am on Sunday through Tuesday for asphalt repairs. The closure will extend from Cotter Road to Hindmarsh Drive.
