The Milton Hotel, home to Dangerous Ales and known for its acclaimed South Coast brewery tap house, will host a special pop-up event at SuchandSuch. Founded by Damien Martin, whose impressive culinary journey has included stints at Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen and Sydney's Quay. News: π¨ Emergency Systems Test
THE ESA will be testing the public warning system today. As part of the test, alerts for a simulated bushfire near Stromlo Forest Park and Uriarra Road will be sent out. Residents in the area may receive a call or text message as part of the test. More.
Stage: The Cut
Opening today at the Mill Theatre is The Cut, a provocative play set in a dystopian society where a mysterious procedure known only as "the cut" promises salvation at a significant moral cost. Details here.

News: π Royal Visit Date
King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit Canberra and Sydney on a short visit from October 18-23. In Canberra, they will visit Parliament House, the War Memorial, the CSIRO and the Botanic Gardens. The exact date of when they'll arrive in Canberra hasn't been released by the palace.
