The Canberra Transport Museum is holding a series of farewell tours for the Renault PR100 (orange and blue) buses. The tours will take the old 333 route using the final four Renault PR100.2 buses in the Transport Canberra fleet. Details here.

For years, the Y Chifley Health and Wellness Centre, completely unlike typical commercial gyms, was a space for a diverse range of people of all ages and abilities. Most of the members were over the age of 50. Earlier this year, the YMCA could no longer operate the gym due to high operating costs for the not-for-profit. Fortunately, the ACT Government stepped in to fund the facility, and it has since reopened, now managed by Equipd. Details here.

A study released by the ANU has shown that reductions in electronic gaming machines have not reduced the amount of money lost by Canberrans to gaming machines. The study found that the existing machines were being utilised more heavily. More.
