The "Jimmy" is one of Australia's most prestigious awards in wine. It's awarded to the best one- or two-year-old red wine at the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards. The Four Winds 2023 Shiraz won the Jimmy at this year's awards. Looking to get your hands on a bottle? Unfortunately, it's all sold out.

The Sly Fox Markets is a community market located on the main bike path in O'Connor (between MacArthur Ave and David Street). There will be flea market stalls and locally made goods. It's happening from 10am to 3pm. Details here.
Sir Bob Geldof is coming to Canberra in March next year, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Live Aid. The show will feature a unique blend of live storytelling with intimate acoustic performances of his favourite songs. Details here.

Ondine Closing: Another Canberra restaurant has announced they are closing. Ondine in Deakin, will be closing at the end of the year. Co-owner of the restaurant Daniel Geordani was previously behind Pulp Kitchen in Ainslie which was sold in 2017. Ondine's last service will be on December 21.
Shuttles for Remembrance Day: Transport Canberra will be running a free shuttle from Majura Park to the War Memorial on Monday. More.
Pollen: I've heard from hay fever sufferers that pollen has been particularly bad in Canberra recently. You can track the pollen forecast at CanberraPollen, which has data from the ANU monitoring site.
The UC Capitals fell short of their first WNBL season win, suffering a 99-76 loss to Bendigo Spirit. They'll aim to bounce back this Thursday at the AIS against Perth Lynx. Tickets here.
