The Yarralumla Government Nursery is celebrating its 110-year anniversary with the release of a special new plant. In 2018 Hardenbergia seed was collected at the base of the Brindabellas. A batch of 1500 plants was produced from this seed, and in this batch, a single plant stood out with amazing burgundy foliage. The team spent the next 5 years developing the plant. Watch the film.
The Yarralumla Nursery is a wholesale nursery and not open to the public, but you can pick up this new local creation at Cool Country Natives in Pialligo. Details here.
