New: πΆ Ginninderry Walking Tracks
10km of new walking tracks have officially opened in the picturesque Ginninderry conservation corridor. The conservation area spans the border of the ACT and NSW along the Murrumbidgee River and Ginninderra Creek. The new walking tracks were built by local outfit Iconic Trails and feature Canberra's first swinging bridges. Details here.
Eats: π Occasional Diners Supper Club
There's a new supper club coming to Canberra. The Occasional Diners Supper Club is a small, exclusive event for 20 diners. It is a chance to enjoy good food, wine and conversation. The first Occasional Diners event will be held at The Lab in Manuka. Details here.
News: Memorial Design Scrapped
The Federal Government has scrapped a memorial design made of 98 glass archways with the design deemed too difficult to construct. The memorial for institutional victims of child abuse is to be built on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin near the Museum. More.
