Recent media reports revealed an Indian spy ring was disrupted by ASIO, and such instances of espionage are not uncommon in the Capital. Back in 2013, on this day, media reports broke of South Korean spies who were caught cultivating relationships with public servants in Canberra. Unlike the recent incident, those involved were never expelled, and the government made an effort to suppress the embarrassing revelations.
Canberra Spinners and Weavers are holding their annual members' exhibition from May 3 to 11. The exhibition will showcase a diverse range of hand-made items and an extensive shop featuring member’s items. Details here.
