Molly: Canberra's original prohibition-style bar. It was originally located in a bank vault but moved to its current location when the building was demolished. Hippo Co: Located upstairs in Garema Place, Hippo Co has an impressive selection of whiskies with regular new releases. They have live music on Wednesdays. More.
Volstead Repeal: Canberra's newest whisky joint is Volstead Repeal in Braddon. They have over 400 whiskies available to try as well as pizzas to snack on. More

Figures from PropTrack show that Canberra has recorded the largest increase in vacant rentals among capital cities in Australia. Canberra has a vacancy rate of 1.56% compared to Melbourne's 1.23% and Sydney's 1.3%.
Sandwiches must be the in thing right now. Italian and Sons are joining the craze and offering a lunchtime Focaccia Bar. The Lonsdale Street Italian restaurant is serving a range of lunch options made using house-baked 72-hour naturally risen sourdough focaccia. The focaccia bar will be open from 11:30am to 2:30pm Wednesday to Friday. More.
As part of World Bee Day celebrations, the Capital Region Farmers Market will be hosting a Slovenian Honey Breakfast. There will also be some exclusive honey treats from the stallholders, including German Bienen Stich (Bee Sting Cake) and Fig & Honey Gelato. Stone of Remembrance is Back: The 6.5 tonne Stone of Remembrance has been returned to the parade ground at the Australian War Memorial. The stone was relocated during construction works.

Olleyville is Closing: Olleyville Restaurant at the Shaw Vineyard Estate in Murrumbateman will be closing down at the end of June. More.
