Coming Up: 🍷 National Wine Experience

The National Wine Show will be happening in Canberra next month. As part of the show, you can take part in The National Wine Experience. Something to do: 🏃‍♀️ Burley Griffin Parkrun

Parkruns are weekly 5km runs that are free to participate in. There are several Parkruns around Canberra, including the Burley Griffin Parkrun. This run starts in Weston Park, and you'll run along the bike path to the Yarralumla dog park and back. As with every Parkrun, you can run, jog or walk. To take part, all you need to do is register online. Find out more.

Gina Rinehart Portrait: Gina Rinehart demanded that the National Gallery remove her portrait, painted by artist Vincent Namatjira. Much of Namatjira's work pokes fun at people in power. The gallery will not remove the piece. More.

Gundaroo Speed Limit Increase: After a trial of a 60km/h speed limit on Gundaroo Drive, it's been decided the speed limit should be raised to 80km/h again. The speed limit change will be rolled out in sections as the road works are completed. More.
