UNSW is building a new campus in the city centre. Consultation is now open, and you can provide feedback on the design of Stage 1. The new campus will be built on the corner of Constitution Avenue and Coranderrk Street in Parkes. The site is currently a dirt car park. Construction is expected to begin in 2025 and be finished in 2027. Details here.

There is a wide and diverse range of organisations exhibiting, with sectors such as environment, sport, education, science, arts, tourism, emergency response and more. Flickerfest is the country's largest Australian & International short film competition and screens the best of short films from Australia and around the globe. The national tour is coming to Canberra this Thursday at Palace Cinema. Details here.
This weekend, arborists from around the ACT will be competing in the ACT Tree Climbing Championships. These competitions encourage excellence in technical tree climbing and demonstrate the latest arborist tech. The top tree climbers will go on to represent Canberra at the National championships next year. You can see the competition happening this Saturday and Sunday in Weston Park from 9am.

Did you see the Aurora Australis? The lights were captured by photographers at Williamsdale near Canberra. The Aurora australis displays are still possible but less likely. I've found the best way to check the aurora forecast is by using this app.
