Two of Canberra’s cult favourites have teamed up in an unlikely collaboration to create PrawnHub. The Raku x Grease Monkey burger is inspired by Raku’s Japanese cuisine. It features tempura prawns, spiced pineapple, capsicum salsa and wasabi mayo. It’s available for a limited time only at Greasemonkey.
Over 300 of Australia’s most talented working dogs are competing in Hall at the National Sheep Dog Trial Championships. The public is welcome to come along and see the dogs working with their handlers around the course. It’s running from Monday 11th - Sunday 17th. Details here.
The stunning Majura Sunflower Maze is opening tomorrow. This year, it’s a ticketed event to manage crowd numbers. In addition to walking through the maze, you’ll have the opportunity to pick your own sunflowers (a maximum of 5) for $3 per stem. Several pharmacies in the ACT will take part in a trial, allowing them to prescribe treatments for mild skin conditions. ACT Health hopes to roll out the trial next month. More.
