Coming Soon: 🛝 A Cafe for Kids

Little Amigos is a Cafe just for kids. It's opening soon in The Canberra Centre. The first Little Amigos opened in Sydney last year and was very popular. The venue is designed for kids between one and seven and features multiple interactive play zones and a menu that includes pizza, pasta and fish tacos. The play zones include a mini train ride, a construction site, ball pit, slides and much more Details here.

On Now: Vincent Namatjira: Australia in colour

There is an excellent new exhibition of acclaimed Western Aranda artist Vincent Namatjira at the National Gallery. His paintings offer a wry, satirical look at Australian identity. The exhibition is free. Details here.

Today: Hall Markets

The Hall Markets are on today at the Hall Showground. You'll find fresh produce, baked goods, plants, pottery and much more at one of Canberra's largest markets. Entry is via a gold coin donation, with money raised going to Hartley Lifecare. Details here.

Something to do: 🏃 Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run

There is still time to register for the Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run. Money raised goes to local charities through Hands Across Canberra. There is a 2km, 5km and 10km race. Details here.

Made in Canberra: 🍺 Ale Mary

Ale Mary is one of Canberra's newest microbreweries. The company was founded in 2022 by three local guys with a mission to make beer for beer drinkers. They currently have 5 beers in their range, including a German-style Kölsch draught and a hazy IPA.

Look out for Ale Mary brews across venues in Canberra including at the Durham Arms in Kingston. The cans are available on their website with delivery to Canberra suburbs and from many bottleshops around the ACT. Find out more.
