News: Bentspoke Wins Big at ‘Oscars’ of Brewing

Bentspoke’s Barley Griffin and FreeWheeler have brought home Gold at the International Brewing & Cider Awards. The International Brewing Awards is a Biannual competition that has been running since 1886 and is believed to be the oldest brewing competition in the world. More.


Notice: 🔥 Prescribed Burns Happening Across ACT Border

Yesterday evening, there was smoke across Canberra. The NSW Rural Fire Service conducted prescribed burns just outside the ACT border near Uriarra, which will continue today. Smoke may be present across Canberra over the coming days.

News: 🚌 New Saturday Bus Timetable Coming

A new Saturday bus timetable featuring more frequent services will start on April 6th. In total, over 300 extra services will run on Saturday. Hourly services will now run until 6 p.m. Transport ACT has been running a recruitment drive and this new timetable is enabled by an increase in staff. Details here.


Sport: 🏉 Albert Hopoate to Miss Sharks Game

The Raiders will travel to Sydney this Sunday to play the Sharks. They will be without Albert Hopoate, who sustained minor burns while cooking on a barbecue. It’s expected he will be fit for round 5. Match Preview.
