Something to do: 🍅 Canberra Seed Savers

Canberra Seed Savers is a network of locals working to protect our abundant, common heritage of open-pollinated food seeds. Open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse, leading to a greater amount of variation within plant populations. These plants can slowly adapt to local growing conditions and climate year to year.

This weekend, Canberra Seed Savers are holding their Autumn Seed Swap at the City Farm. Even if you don't have seeds to swap you can come along and grab seeds from the collection including autumn and winter seeds like Asian greens, onions, leeks and cauliflower. Details here.
