News: Shopping Precinct to be Heritage Listed

Canberra’s oldest shopping precinct, known as the ‘old Kingston shops’, will be provisionally added to the heritage register. The shopping precinct on Giles and Kennedy Streets is nearly 100 years old. More.


Coming Up: The Choir of King’s College

The world-famous Choir of King’s College is touring Australia. You’ll be able to hear one of the best choirs in the world perform in Canberra on August 3rd. There are just a handful of tickets available. Details here.


New Eats: 🍕 Cafe Bistro

There’s a new lunch spot in The City. Cafe Bistro serves up fresh sandwiches, focaccia and pizza. The intimate little cafe is located on the corner of Bunda and Genge Street. Details here.


Sport: 🏉 Brumbies Quarter Final This Saturday

The ACT Brumbies have made it into the Super Rugby Pacific Quarter Finals. They will play the Highlanders at home in the sudden-death match this Saturday at 7:35pm. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10:00am on Wednesday. Details here.


Something to do: 🎭 Improv in Canberra

Thank God It’s Friday by Improv ACT happens on the first Friday of the month. It’s a super-casual show with some cheap after-work drinks at Blank Creative in the City. Details here.
