Canberra's Capital Brewing has announced the acquisition of Batlow Cider, a renowned Australian cider brand. The cider is made from apples only grown in the Batlow region, and it uses imperfect fruit that doesn't make it to supermarket shelves. This fits perfectly with Capital Brewing's sustainable ethos. They are one of the few B Corp-certified breweries in Australia.
Batlow Cider will now be brewed out of Canberra, and they will still use the same recipe. They'll aim to increase production as there is still more apple waste than cider being produced. More.
