Muse, the Griffith cafe and book store, has announced it will be closing. After nine years, the owners have decided to move on to new things. Muse is known for its literary events and has attracted many popular names over the years. It will be open until August 25th.
East Hotel will redevelop the space into a new venue, Cucina 69.
Corin Forest is one of the closest places to see snow near Canberra. It features a snow play area, a small ski area, and an alpine slide. They use snow machines to make the snow, so there should be some snow all through winter. The alpine play area opened for snow play this long weekend and was fully booked out. Due to a sell-out run, an extra show has been added for Terror, a play by Ferdinand von Schirach. Enter the courtroom, hear the evidence, and make your judgement. A hijacked plane is heading towards a packed football stadium. Ignoring orders to the contrary, a fighter pilot shoots down the plane, killing 164 people to save 70,000. Put on trial and charged with murder, the fate of the pilot is placed in the audience's hands.
