Sport: 🏉 Brumbies Final Chances

The final round of the Super Rugby regular season is this weekend. The third-placed Brumbies have a chance of securing the minor premiership if the top two teams lose and the Brumbies win. While that is unlikely, if one of the top teams does slip up, the Brumbies can finish in the top two, earning a home quarter-final game.

The Brumbies play the Western Force in Perth tonight at 7:35pm.

Tidbits:

Southern Lights Could Return: There’s a 50% chance of the Aurora Australis happening again over the next 7-10 nights. You can see the forecast here.

Man Charged with Murder: A man has been charged with murder after a fatal house fire in Holt on May 22nd. More.

Goodies Junction: The Green Shed has officially changed hands and is now Goodies Junction. A reminder that goods can still be dropped off; however, the shops will be closed until July.

Sports Grounds Closed for Training: All sports grounds in the ACT have been closed for training (matches will go ahead) over the weekend due to the rain. More.

There will be no Canberra Digest tomorrow. I’ll be back on Monday
