Coming Up: Lifeline Open Book Event
Lifeline Canberra is hosting Open Book featuring political journalists Jack Waterford, Niki Savva and Christine Wallace. The deep-dive panel discussion will cover the careers, successes and adventures of the three prominent political journalists. There will also be a range of donated books available to purchase, including a collection of rare, valuable, and signed books. Details here.

French fine dining restaurant Les Bistronomes will be celebrating Bastille Day this year with a special 5-course menu featuring French classics like Cassoulet and Crêpes Suzette. The special menu will be available from the 9th to 13th of July. Details here.
Kids: 🥇 Champions Arena at Canberra Centre
Take part in a range of sporting-themed activities during the school holidays at the Canberra Centre. Face off in Wii Sports, Guess Who Sports Edition, and Twister Champion. Lonsdale Street restaurant and wine bar Corella has launched a budget-friendly wind down happy hour from 5pm to 6:30pm, every Tuesday to Friday. Corella has discounted a number of snack menu items to under $10 and have $6 beers and $10 wines. I’d recommend making a booking. Details here.
Kids: 👩🎨 Natural Science Art Holiday Program
The National Archives is running a holiday program for budding young artists. They’ll be guided through the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize exhibition before getting a chance to create their own natural science work of art. Details here.
