Construction work will soon begin on the upgrades to Garema Place. Upgrades include increasing the green space and extending the outdoor dining areas. The design changes mean much of the existing public art in Garema Place will be removed. The City Renewal Authority has provided an update is changing:
You can see the designs for the Garema Place upgrade here. Work will be in Spring 2024, with most of the construction beginning in early 2025 so as not to disrupt Christmas shopping too much.
