The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating Batik Air for an alleged breach of air safety rules. The airline's first flight into Canberra is being investigated after the ATSB said the aircraft had flown into Canberra Airport below the minimum altitude. Batik Air currently flies into Canberra three times a week. More.

Pan-Asian restaurant OHNO runs an all-you-can-eat Yum Cha lunch on the first Sunday of every month. It costs $49pp with an option to add bottomless beverages. The next session in August has already been booked out, but there are still bookings available in September (Father's Day). Details here.

Young Canberra artist Patrick Hennessy's first solo exhibition, "Ma - Inbetween the Action", will be taking place at Blank Space (City) tomorrow evening from 6pm to 10pm. Ma is the Japanese word for pause, and these paintings tell a story using these in-between moments of stillness. Details here.
