The ANU Community Music Centre provides beginner and developing musicians the opportunity to create and make music through a number of affordable programs. Community Rock School by the Centre gives beginner musicians the opportunity to unleash their inner rock star and play in a band. The course culminates with a performance at Smiths Alternative. Do you have any unused dog toys, collars, or leads lying around?. Domestic Animal Services (the pound) accepts donations and these items will be put to good use! They can be dropped off at 92 Mugga Lane between 10am and 3pm.
They are also currently accepting donations of blankets, towels, and dog coats (no fluffy bathmats or doonas as they get torn up) to keep the pups warm during the winter. Details here.
