News: 👮 Police Looking for Cyclist Who Injured Child

ACT Police are seeking assistance from the public to help identify a cyclist involved in a serious collision with a child. The cyclist struck the child outside of Casey Jones Pub on Saturday, the 20th. As a result, the child sustained a significant injury to their leg. Details here.


News: 🚑 11 More Paramedic Crews for Canberra

The ACT Government has increased the funding for paramedics by $19.7 million over 4 years. This will see 11 more paramedic crews rostered over a 24-hour period. These changes will require an update to the enterprise agreement, which is in the final stages of negotiation between the ACT government and the Transport Workers Union.

The Rainbow Roundabout on Lonsdale Street has been given a makeover. The new design incorporates the ‘progress flag’. It’s still predominantly rainbow but now includes greater representation. See the new look here.
