This Friday: National Museum Community Day
This Friday, the National Museum is hosting a community day. It’s a free event featuring live bands, cultural performances, the chance to join a yarning circle and hands-on creative activities. There are activities all day from 9:30am to 4pm. Details here.
COVID-19 Cases Could Rise Again in Canberra
The ACT Health Minister Emma Davidson has warned that COVID cases could increase again as people return to work and school. Covid-19 cases have been decreasing in the ACT since a peak in November. A number of States have been seeing a surge in cases.
A reminder that you can pick up a RAT test for free from ACT Libraries until the end of January.
Coming Up: 👻 The Woman in Black
The Woman in Black is coming to Australia. The horror/thriller play based on Susan Hill’s acclaimed novel has been running on the West End for three decades. It’s coming to Canberra for a limited release on the 9th to 14th July. Pre-sale tickets are available tomorrow from 10am. Details here.
Today: 🚲 Fix N Ride Bicycle Workshop
Bring your bike along to the Salthouse Community Centre in Haig Park for a free Bicycle Fix n Ride workshop. The hands-on workshop covers bicycle maintenance and repair to keep your bike in top shape. The family-friendly event is for all ages. It’s happening today from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Details here.
Tomorrow: Uno Deathmatch at Reload
Put your UNO skills to the test at Reload Bar’s monthly competition night. There are prizes up for grabs, including token vouchers and Reload merchandise. The $5 entry fee secures your seat. Bookings are recommended, but walk-in entries are available depending on capacity. Details here.

The National Museum’s Antarctica and Beyond the Milk Way experiences are ending this week. The virtual reality shows have been running for the last year and will finish on the 28th of January. Details here.
