In tragic news, a 19-year-old man has died in a car crash. The car was allegedly being driven by a 14-year-old boy. The car collided with another vehicle at an intersection in Belconnen. More.
🥐 Three Mills is Looking for a Chief Croissant Consumption Officer
To celebrate National Croissant Day on January 30, Three Mills is looking to fill a special position. The CCCO or Chief Croissant Consumption Officer will have the right to walk into any Three Mills Bakery location to grab a free croissant every day. They’ll also receive a box of bake-at-home croissants delivered monthly. You can put yourself in the running for this tough job here.
News: 🐟 90,000 Juvenile Fish Released into Canberra Lakes
90,000 juvenile native fish have been released into Canberra’s lakes as part of the annual fish stocking program. The Golden Perch and Murray Cod fingerlings were released into Yerrabi Pond, Lake Ginninderra, Gungahlin Pond, Isabella Ponds, Lake Tuggeranong and Lake Burley Griffin. 🎨 New Public Artwork in Haig Park
You may have noticed the ugly shipping container in Haig Park has now been transformed into a beautiful artwork. The design features Canberra’s most popular native animals, as voted for by the community. The art was done by Canberra studio Eggpicnic. More.
