News: π± More than 56,000 Drivers Caught by Mobile Phone Detection Cameras
Since Mobile Phone Detection cameras were installed in February, more than 56,000 drivers have been caught. Currently, drivers receive a written warning letter, but from 1st February, they will receive fines and demerit points. There are fixed mobile phone detection cameras on Hindmarsh Drive and Gungahlin Drive and three mobile cameras. Details of the new penalties are here.
