Canberra Raiders legend is returning to the club in a coaching role. He retired last year after playing more than 300 games for the club. Croker will work in a dual role, coaching the outside backs as well as the goal-kicking coach. More.

The Belco Bowl Jam is a world-class skateboarding event held in Belconnen. It’s the longest-running skateboarding event in Australia, attracting some of the best skateboarders from around the world. The Bowl Jam will run on Saturday, the 10th, at the Belconnen Skatepark. Details here.
Church Neighbourhood Goods will be holding a welcome party and street jam on February 9th in the City. They are shutting down the alleyway next to the shop for live music, an informal skate jam and a film premiere. Details here.
Construction work will begin this year on a 14-unit build-to-rent development in Phillip. It’s being built by the Canberra Southern Cross Club in partnership with Community Housing Canberra and the ACT Government. The development will include 70 affordable rental homes.
The development will be built on the irregular-shaped piece of land next to the Stellar Health and Wellness Centre on Yamba Drive.
