The Harmonie German Club have purchased a food truck to serve their popular German sausages, warm pretzels and Currywurst. You’ll see the van at upcoming events and festivals around Canberra, including Skyfire, the Black Opal Stakes and The National Folk Festival.
The food truck was purchased with support from the ACT Government’s club diversification fund. The program was set up to help ACT clubs become less reliant on gambling income.
On the morning of February 25th, 2018, more than 124mm of rain was recorded in Lyneham, and 60mm of rain was recorded at the airport. Apartments and homes were flooded in the inner north, and parts of Northbourne Avenue were closed. Buses were forced to divert for most of the day.
