New Eats: 🧑‍🍳 Matt Moran Restaurants

Celebrity Chef Matt Moran is opening two new restaurants in Canberra. Compa will be an Italian steakhouse, and &Sando will be a casual sandwich shop next door. The restaurants will take over the space on Bunda Street, where L'Americano is currently, and will be opening sometime in Autumn.


News: Asbestos Contamination in Mulch Confirmed

Bonded Asbestos has been found in mulch samples tested by Worksafe ACT. Further testing of mulch from suppliers around Canberra is currently underway. More.


This Weekend: 🎭 Shakespeare by the Lakes

Shakespeare by the Lakes is a free summer season of Shakespeare performances in Canberra's open spaces. This year, they're performing Shakespeare's epic play Henry V. You'll be transported to the battlefield with thrilling action, powerful speeches, and plenty of fun. The free shows are happening at Tuggeranong Town Park, Patrick White Lawns (National Library), and Viking Park in Wanniassa. There are also two paid shows at the ACT Hub and Verity Lane. Coming Soon: 🌻 Canberra’s Sunflower Maze

Majura Valley Farm is Canberra's oldest working farm. The farm produces free-range eggs and pasture-fed lamb, and they also have a spectacular sunflower maze, which is just about ready. The maze will be opening on March 9th. Details here.


Friday: 🥁 French Percussionist Adélaïde Ferrière

Superstar French percussionist Adélaïde Ferrière is performing this Friday at the Snow Concert Hall as part of their International Series. The young performer has won more than 15 international awards and has performed at some of the greatest music halls. Tickets here.
