News: ⚰️ More Affordable Funeral Home Coming to Canberra

Not-for-profit funeral home group Tender Funerals will open in Canberra later this year. Tender Funerals provides a cheaper funeral option for families. The funeral home charges only the cost for goods and services, and families can choose to provide items like flowers themselves. Families who can afford it can also donate a “pay-it-forward” amount to help finance funerals for those who can’t afford it.

The Snow Foundation chipped in $1million towards the project in the form of a $750,000 grant and $250,000 loan. The Capital Airport Group helped secure and supply the site of the new funeral home at Fairbairn. Details here.
