The small community of Sutton is located just over the Canberra border. The Sutton Village Country Markets are happening this Sunday. You'll find fresh homegrown produce and handmade products, and the market is pet-friendly. Details here.

National Science Week starts tomorrow and runs until the 18th. There are 49 events happening around Canberra including at Questacon, the libraries and shopping centres. You can see all the National Science Week events here.
Exhibition: π³ Ghost Trees
Ghost Trees is the next immersive audiovisual exhibition to take up residence in the NFSA Gallery. Step inside a 'digital memory' of an endangered forest that was created entirely using three-dimensional LIDAR scans. The exhibition opens tomorrow as part of National Science Week. Details here.

Petite Saigon is the newest addition to Verity Lane, serving up Vietnamese favourites, including phỠand bÑnh mì. Details here.
Petite Saigon has taken over the space where Lim Peh's Wonton Noodles used to be. Lim Peh's will be re-opening in Woden within the next couple of weeks.
News: π Rent Increase Calculator
The ACT Government has launched a calculator tool to help make sure rent increases are fair and legal. The ACT is the only jurisdiction in Australia that has specific limits on rent increases. The limits are tied to the consumer price index and both tenants and landlords can use the calculator to ensure any increase is inline with the limits. You can see the tool here.

The Centre For A Better Canberra is hosting a conversation with urban microforests expert Edwina Robinson and former Clinton White House sustainable development advisor Molly Harriss Olson on transforming Canberra suburbs into carbon-neutral environments. This Weekend: Polo Record Fair
The Canberra Polo Record Fair is back this weekend. There will be over 15,000 LPs, 45s, and CDs from local vendors. Entry to the fair is by gold coin donation. It's happening at the Polish Club (Turner) this Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Details here.
