The Ambrosia Lounge is a cocktail bar by the folks behind the Ambrosia Distillery at the Dairy Road Precinct. The cocktail menu is themed after Greek Mythology. Ambrosia Lounge will be opening on September 4. While the Dairy Road precinct is busy during the day, I wonder how popular a nightlife venue like this will be? Details here.
The Elouera and Mort Streets intersection in Braddon has been closed for upgrades since March. The construction process is finally over, and the streets will open again tomorrow afternoon. The roundabout has been replaced with a new raised intersection that prioritises pedestrians. More.

City Stadium: Wondering what the latest hullabaloo over the city stadium was about? Sports Minister Yvette Berry recently responded to a question on notice. She was asked by the Liberal party what the cost of a city stadium would be. Her response cited figures from an independent report by construction consultants WT Partnership, estimating the cost at upwards of $2.1 billion—significantly higher than previous estimates. The ACT Government has long abandoned their own decade-old idea of a city stadium and is now focusing on building a new stadium in Bruce.
Right to a Healthy Environment: The ACT has become the first jurisdiction in Australia to recognise the right to a healthy environment. The bill passed yesterday. More.
