The ACT State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition will be happening later this year, and registrations have been opened for those interested in competing. The competition is open to puzzlers of all ages and abilities, not just serious speed puzzlers. You can compete in pairs or as an individual. Everyone will receive the same 500-piece puzzle to complete in the shortest amount of time possible. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as spot and raffle prizes. Kickstart Expresso is opening a drive-thru coffee shop in Belconnen. Kickstart operates the drive-thru coffee shop in Fyshwick and the Laneway Cafe in Dickson. The new location is in the Benjamin Offices car park and will be opening on Monday. Details here.

Fuse Art Prize
Australasia's richest art prize for glass, the biennial Fuse Art Prize offers artists a chance to challenge their creative boundaries and highlights the significance of glass as a medium in contemporary art. The exhibition of the finalist's works is now showing at the gallery until September 6. More.
2024 Drawing Prize
The ANU School of Art & Design Drawing Prize showcases and celebrates the breadth and depth of drawing practice within the ANU School of Art & Design. The work of the 21 finalists is currently on exhibition until September 6. More.
The Mint has been closed to visitors for the past few months to undergo major refurbishments, including a new Mint shop and museum. You'll be able to explore the newly refurbished Mint from Monday, August 12.
