News: 🍷 6 Canberra Wineries Make Top Wineries List

Six wineries from the Canberra Wine Region have made the “Top Wineries of Australia 2024” list. The Real Review Top Wineries Certificate is awarded to a select group of wineries that consistently produce excellent wine. The six Canberra wineries featured in this year’s list were Clonakilla Wines, Helm, Collector Wines, Lerida Estate, Lark Hill and Four Winds.

Sport: 🏉 Brumbies Continue Winning Streak

The Brumbies (m) beat the Waratahs 40-16 to continue their winning streak in wet conditions at Canberra Stadium. The Brumbies have won five games in a row and currently sit third on the Super Rugby ladder. Match report.

On Now: 🌺 Bush Fragrance

Bush Fragrance is the latest exhibition at the National Botanic Gardens. This year’s theme, Bush Fragrance, has inspired art that evokes fragrances from boronia, lemon myrtle and flannel flowers. There is a diverse range of works, including watercolour, pen and ink, coloured pencil, etchings, and collage, and all the works are botanically correct. Details here.

The Handmade Markets have been running this weekend at EPIC (indoors). Over 250+ small Australian businesses have been selling their unique, handmade wares. The markets are running from 10am to 4pm today. Details here.
