News:ποΈ AWM Parade Ground will be Ready for Anzac Day
The parade ground in front of the War Memorial will be ready for the Veteran's march on Anzac Day. The new parade ground has been under construction for the last two years and features stone terracing, which can seat 4400 people.
The southern entrance to the War Memorial, which looks out across the lake, is still under construction and will be finished later this year. The entire $550 million development is still many years away from completion.
The veterans march will start at 9:30am on Thursday and head up Anzac Parade to the War Memorial.
New: Discover the Dyslexia-Friendly Collection of Books
ACT Libraries have a new collection of Dyslexia-friendly books. The books are specially formatted for people with dyslexia and are commonly printed with a font designed to alleviate some of the difficulties typically reported by readers with dyslexia. Branches around Canberra will be holding sessions with information on the new collection over the coming days. Find out more.
News: Courgette Money Laundering Ring-leader Jailed
Mohammed Al Mofathel, the man behind a money laundering operation linked to Canberra fine dining restaurant Courgette, has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison. The money laundering scheme involved Al Mofathel giving money to the restaurant, which was returned as pretend wages. More.

The ACT Government is holding a "Keeping your home warm for less" online information session with steps you can take to keep the warmth inside.
